PhD in Psychology, Permit Psychologist, RIC, APA Member, Member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology. Dr. Samone M. Smith-Brown grew up in Linden, New Jersey. Growing up wasn’t easy and her and she always found myself wanting to help others feel better, to believe in themselves, to never let anything stop them. Her desire to help others became my driving force and pushed her through sickness, pregnancy, personal loss, hardships, low self-esteem and self-doubt to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in 1999. During my time at Rutgers, She was a member of Psi Chi and the National Honor Society in Psychology. In 2004 she received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Capella University and went on to complete a PhD in Psychology in 2015. Her desire to help others only grew as she got older. So in 2018 she became a certified Permit Psychologist - all in the hopes of helping her patients find the balance, harmony and beauty in their lives so they can be the individual they envision. This isn’t just a career but a passion for her, a desire to offer people something that she never had - a transformational life coach who will be your motivator and the friend that many need but can’t seem to find.
