“Starz” , A 23 year old Canadian Hip-Hop artist from the city of Toronto, Ontario, was born and raised in the east side of city (Scarborough). Growing up as a child he was always surrounded by different types of music, but his love for Hip-Hop started at the age of 16. At 16, he fell more in love with hip-hop music and started listening to Lupe Fiasco. Lupe made a big impact on his perspective of hip-hop music when he first listened to Lupe Fiasco’s “Hip-Hop Saved My Life” which was off Lupe’s second album “The Cool”.”Hip-Hop Saved My Life” was the first song Starz was inspired by to write music. As the years passed by he took all the time he needed to better him self at writing music, and learning how to rap. At 18 is when he started taking his music more seriously and wanted to make that dream of being a rapper into reality. Starz currently remains unsigned to any Independent or major label and is working on his debut mixtape titled “TheGiFT”.
