Nimah Wynee’ is an up and coming commercial/print model and talent in the DC/MD area. Born in Washington, DC, she was a child who gravitated towards the visual and expressive arts, whether it was through drawing, creative writing, poetry, or dance. Her interest in fashion and aesthetics grew out her love for overall expression and her dreams of modeling and acting were born in 2004. Although Nimah stands at 5 feet, 5 inches, a height most consider to be petite, she makes up for it in personality and presence. Additionally, Nimah continuously reminds herself of the enormous impact petite models, such as Kate Moss and Devon Aoki have on the fashion industry and this fuels her fire to continue to push for greatness in her modeling career. Nimah has experience working in the promotional arena as a Brand Ambassador for numerous companies, including Axe, PNC, and Glade and she has taken part in promotions at the Verizon Center and the DC Convention Center. Her modeling resume details local fashion shows for various designers as well as fashion shows for Forever 21 and Baltimore City Community College. She is also a featured model on two local designers’ websites, Editalo Designs and Simply Cecily. Most recently, she was featured as a hair model in the February 2014 issues of Sophisticate’s Black Hair Magazine and will walk in the upcoming Maryland and Baltimore Fashion Week fashion shows. Nimah’s latest pursuit is commercial acting in which she has experience in voice-over work and stage performance.
